Simple and Healthy Evening Snacks Recipes




Evening snacks form an important part of our daily means. Whether you are at office or home, kids or adults, everybody gets an urge to eat something at this hour. Something, that is delicious and can be cooked easily in no time. 

Let’s make a simple and healthy snack for your evening tea. A tasty snack that won’t let you crave for your favorite samosas, bondas and other high calorie deep-fried foods.

Carrot, Sprouts and Paneer Toast

Ingredients Required

2 brown bread slices
3/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup bean sprouts
50 gms grated low fat paneer
1/4 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp low fat butter
salt to taste

How to Cook:


1.      Toast the bread slices in a toaster.
2.      Apply the butter on one side of the bread toast.
3.      Combine the carrot, paneer, green chilli, coriander and salt in a bowl, mix well.
4.      Place one portion of the mixture on the buttered side of each toast.
5.      Spread the sprouts on top.
6.      Cut into 2 pieces and serve immediately.


Paneer is rich in calcium and protein. Bean sprouts are a good source of number of vitamins and minerals.
