Best Line of My Life

The best line I have heard and learnt till today is: Live and Let Live.

Not only I believe this but I follow this in my normal course of life. I genuinely think that if everybody tries to understand it and starts following, this world will really become very beautiful.

Be it an individual, a household, a society, a city or a country, it applies to all. But, the problem arises when this phrase is partially understood. We all want to live the way we want but do we let other live the way they want?

All you need to live your life happily and satisfactorily is the security. This can be emotional security where we need friends and family to share our joy & sorrows, financial security to fulfill our needs & responsibilities and the social security that assures you a respective place in the society.

When the basic funda is so transparent and clear, then why to live in grudges and stay unhappy?

Do what makes you happy and live your life the way you wish without harming anyone in anyway.

A Trip to Shimla and the “Quieter Shimla”

Long weekends often urge you to take an outstation trip and by obvious choice you prefer hill stations. Last weekend, we decided to visit Shimla. Though we knew it would be crowded there, we still wanted to go as we had never been to Himachal. Shimla being the most popular hill spot, it was the first to come to our minds. Everything was planned at the last moment. An innova was hired. We started at 5 in the morning from Gurgaon. We were six including me, my husband, my sister, my brother-in-law, their three year old kid, and my other sister. We reached Shimla around 3.15 pm, with just two stoppages in between not taking more than half an hour. So, it actually took around 10 hours.
